Find and win the businesses that need custom software, web and mobile apps, or video and influencer work from our media division, and guide them from first call to signed proposal.
FourCents builds custom software, web and mobile apps for businesses, and runs a media division (video production, influencer marketing, creator management) at media.fourcents.ca. We have a 20-year track record, 350+ delivered projects and a 4.9 average across 300+ five-star client reviews. What we do not have yet is a dedicated salesperson. You would be the first, working directly with the founder.
What you will do Prospect and qualify small and mid-sized businesses that need custom software, apps, websites or media work.
Run discovery calls, understand the business problem, and translate it into a brief the engineering or media team can scope.
Prepare and present proposals with the founder; negotiate scope and terms honestly.

Follow up inbound leads from our websites within the hour and keep every conversation in the CRM.
Build relationships with referral partners: accountants, agencies, business associations and skilled networks.
Report weekly on pipeline, conversion and what prospects are asking for, so the product and marketing improve.
What we are looking for Two or more years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally selling services or technology to business owners.
Comfortable explaining software and digital projects to non-technical decision makers.
Excellent written and spoken English; organised, persistent and honest about what we can and cannot deliver.
Experience with a CRM and a disciplined follow-up process.
