Overview We have an exciting contract opportunity to join our global EPC client as an Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities Develop equipment requirements, specifications, and data sheets for mechanical equipment including pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, packaged equipment, and fired/unfired heat transfer equipment.
Perform equipment sizing, technical evaluations, and performance assessments, including pressure profiles, heat transfer calculations, equipment connections, and off-design operating conditions.
Prepare and maintain equipment lists, narrative specifications, equipment standards, general arrangement drawings, and outline drawings.
Support project development and process engineering teams with equipment selection, application, and material selection activities.
Participate in supplier and contractor bid reviews, technical clarification meetings, negotiations, and award recommendations.
Represent the Mechanical discipline during model reviews and monitor equipment layouts to ensure compliance with design, operability, and maintenance requirements.




Provide technical support during equipment fabrication, inspection, and factory acceptance testing (FAT).
Utilize specialized knowledge in rotating equipment, pressure vessels, fired and unfired heat transfer equipment, packaged systems, metallurgy, and welding.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with 20+ years of related experience and professional registration/certification where required.
Robust leadership and project management experience, including managing large-scale engineering projects, scheduling, progress reporting, and project closeout.
Advanced knowledge of engineering codes, standards, material selection, and cost considerations.
Extensive practical field experience supporting engineering, commissioning, and project execution activities.
Provide mentorship to apprentices and collaborate with team members.
