Custodian St. Gerard Catholic School (40 hours per week) Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools covers a geographical area that includes the regional communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Spirit River.
Position Overview Custodians are responsible to maintain a clean, secure and healthy environment, which contributes a great deal to the morale of the school population and an appealing appearance to the public.
Ideal Candidate Qualities Good communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Attention to detail
Keep building neat and clean at all times
Empty trash containers in classrooms, bathrooms and all common areas throughout the facility daily




Vacuum/dry mop all floors and stairs daily
Clean bathrooms (sinks, toilets and counters/fixtures/dispensers and walls/door frames) and classroom sinks daily
Desired Qualifications Some High School
WHMIS training
Starting compensation will be as per the collective agreement: $24.57/hour along with a generous benefit package.
