Convergint is looking for a CAD Technician & Document Controller to join our amazing culture in our Halifax, NS location. As a Document Controller, you will work closely with our project management and engineering teams to coordinate field activities, support documentation, and assist with the technical delivery of large-scale integrated systems projects.

What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

Technical Support and Drawing Coordination

Develop and maintain technical documentation, redlines, and site reports.

Verify device locations, wiring terminations, and equipment installations.

Participate in system testing, labeling, and commissioning with senior technicians.

Monitor jobsite conditions, promote adherence to Convergint Health & Safety policies, and participate in toolbox talks and hazard assessments.

Prepare system installation drawings from engineered documentation.

Prepare system as-built drawings from onsite drawing mark-ups.

Assemble and prepare drawing package sets, data sheets, submittals, shop
