Become a crucial part of Lakes District Maintenance as a Highway Maintenance Machine Operator in Jade City, BC. This seasonal role focuses on operating heavy machinery, ensuring roadway safety, and maintaining operational efficiency.

In this full time seasonal position, the Auxiliary Highway Maintenance Worker will work closely with the Area Foreman. You are expected to operate various equipment, contribute to safety initiatives, and perform critical manual labor tasks such as snow control and roadside maintenance. Your efforts will support the integrity of highways, and you will be integral in incident response and annual maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy trucks and equipment for highway maintenance
• Perform snow and ice control on road surfaces
• Conduct roadside maintenance and traffic control




• Complete required documentation for maintenance activities
• Report and inspect equipment for compliant operation

Requirements:
• Valid BC Class 3 license with air brake endorsement
• 2+ years of highway maintenance experience preferred
