We’re Hiring: HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) mechanic ROLE: HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) mechanic
TERM: Full Time
PAY RANGE: $25-$40/hour
Education Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience 5 years or more
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. In office customer service
Willing to relocate

Tasks Install and overhaul heating systems
Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems
Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation
Measure and lay out reference points for installation
Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements
Troubleshoot heating systems
Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
Coach and instruct apprentices
Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
Provide customer service
Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
Perform maintenance such as,



recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system
Handle, recover and store refrigerants
Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
Security and safety Basic security clearance
Criminal record check
Driver’s validity licence check
Transportation/travel information Valid driver’s licence
Vehicle supplied by employer
