Overview:
Ensure raw materials are received entered into inventory and transported within and between plants.

Responsibilities:

Receive material from steel mills and verify packing slips

Receive Recog

Mark/identify material

Grind and condition stock as required

Conduct Measurements and mathematical calculations

Complete material receiving reports

Load Patriot Forge truck for shipment of materials between plants

Move raw materials within plant

Conduct Product Material Identification test with PMI gun

Maintain general housekeeping standards in material areas (5S)





Comply with company policies and procedures

Perform additional responsibilities as required and appointed by management

Experience/Skills/Education:

High school diploma or 2 years experience working in a similar position

Familiarity with material handling equipment (overhead cranes and forklifts) and the safe handling of large objects

Previous experience working with steel is an asset

Demonstrated solid organizational, planning, coordination, and priority-setting skills

Good command of the English language both written and verbal

Ability to work with little supervision
