Main Street Project seeks a Float Housing Services Support Worker to assist participants' basic needs while ensuring safety and well-being. In this role, you’ll provide critical support across various programs, embodying harm reduction and equity principles. Your work will have a profound impact on community health and individual dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out support worker duties in Protective Care and other areas
• Complete and submit daily shift reports effectively
• Provide coverage based on approved break schedule
• Track and enter statistics for program areas
• Address urgent issues by reporting to the on-call manager
Requirements:
• Experience in human services, preferably with vulnerable adults
• Understanding of harm reduction and client-centered care
• Ability to work in diverse and multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Robust problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
