Remanufacturing Company Inc.## **Number of Openings:**1## **Worker Type:**Permanent## **Position Overview:**As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for all major material movements within the General Salvage area. You will ensure all moves are made in a protected manner and are properly recorded/input into the warehouse management systems.## **Job Description:*** Transport and distribute materials and goods within the facility* Pick and stock orders* Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment* Pack and unpack goods* Install, lash, and secure goods* Maintain shop cleanliness and safety* Some computer and administrative duties to support the department **Qualifications:*** A minimum of 6 months working in Wage Grade 1 or higher* Reach Truck, Narrow aisle, and Picker Truck experience is preferred* Must be able to prioritize numerous demands and possess good time management skills* Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Ability to work well in a team environment with minimum supervision* Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds* Familiar with computer/tablet use; basic understanding of Microsoft suite is preferred* Preference will be given to candidates with accredited reach truck/forklift certification* A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator* Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner and comply in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures **Note:*** This posting is for a static **weekend night shift** scheduled 4 days on 3 days off, followed by 3 days on 4 days off, Thursday to Sunday, followed by Friday to Sunday.
