FBC is seeking passionate individuals aged 23-29 to mentor students in their Students Supports for Learning Program. As a mentor, you will empower mentees in developing academic and personal skills. Your guidance will play a critical role in fostering a supportive workplace where students can thrive and navigate personal challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Connect with youth in person or online
• Develop trusting relationships with mentees
• Support academic and personal growth
• Maintain confidentiality throughout the mentorship
• Attend required mentoring training sessions
Requirements:
• Identify as a Black community member
• Reside in Alberta
• Prior mentoring experience preferred
• Bilingualism is an asset
• Dependable and adaptable
