Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Ahuntsic Montreal

Hiring a Traffic Coordinator to tackle Imports, Exports and Customs duties for a dynamic team located in Montreal. Working closely with the Customer Service Department and the Sales team to organize cost efficient transportation for imports and exports.

Responsibilities
- Book international air, ocean, and road transportation services
- Work with freight forwarders and other service providers to optimize inbound and outbound shipments
- Ensure customs compliance with Canadian customs regulations and prepare all related documentation
- Verify customs entries (tariff classification, origin determination etc)
- Provide support to co-workers requiring customs knowledge
- Other administrative tasks and special projects

Qualifications
- 3+ years related experience import / export
- Knowledge of Worldwide ports, airports and routing options
- Excellent communications skills (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail oriented, computer savvy, team player
- Professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure and with short deadline
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
