MK Diesel Truck and Trailer Repair is looking for hard working and energetic second year apprentices to join our busy shop in South East Calgary. These are full time positions.

Duties Include:

- Completion of repair assignments following company guidelines and procedures to meet our customer requirements.
- Read diagrams/schematics and manufacturers repair manuals
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all truck and trailer systems.
- Be organized and responsible for the proper completion of repairs as needed.
- Use our computer system for time clock, repair orders, inspections, and accessing repair information.
- Working with other technicians.
- Make a conscious effort to complete work according to the timelines set out which may include the need to work overtime and/or shifts.
- Maintain a good work attitude and cooperate with managers and fellow employees in a positive spirit of teamwork.




- Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

- This position requires 2nd year apprentices
- Experience with Volvo, Freightliner and Cummins is a must
- Engine Diagnostics and some engine experience preferred
- Valid driver’s licence, preference given to class 1
- Prior experience working with heavy trucks, trailers, and other commercial vehicles
