Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, with a strong focus on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Experience in an injection molding environment is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment according to the scheduled PM
- program.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical/electronic, and mechanical issues.
- Conduct daily machine inspections and ensure all inspections are properly documented.
- Record repairs and corrective actions on maintenance and PM forms.
- Identify safety concerns and repair unsafe conditions.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures whenever required.
- Identify and report product, process, or quality-system issues.
- Recommend and implement solutions to maintenance and equipment-related problems.
- Verify that corrective actions and solutions have been properly implemented.
- Ensure nonconforming product or processes are controlled until deficiencies are corrected.
- Maintain proper lighting in work areas.




- Wear required PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, masks, and hearing protection.
- Perform basic machining and welding as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Maintenance Certificate, Millwright Certificate, Electrical Certificate, or Electronic Certificate.
- 10+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in an injection molding environment.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Solid ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Strong ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Basic machining and welding skills.
- Understanding of WHMIS.
- Basic understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 quality and environmental requirements.
- Ability to properly use maintenance-related forms, tags, and labels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
