Canadian Claims Services Inc. (CCS) is looking for potential candidates to fill a full time, vacant position within the organization. This is a maternity cover with the possibility of becoming permanant. This role is both key and critical to the daily functions at CCS. Interested candidates should possess some Insurance Industry/Claims Assistant or related experience, and financial/bookkeeping experience. This role is always adapting and growing and interested candidates should be prepared to be adaptable and be interested in building the capabilities of the role; not only looking to complete tasks “as assigned”. [THE ROLE]

As a Claims Assistant your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Opening Claims

- General telephone reception

- Communicating with Insurance Adjusters

- Communicating with Insurance Brokers

- Entering Financial Details

- Processing Invoices across multiple systems simultaneously

- Reconciling Financial Ledgers





- Creating, Processing, Sending Documents

- Other Typical Administrative Duties
