Job Title: Engineering Project Manager

Job Summary: We are hiring an Engineering Project Manager for our manufacturing client in Huron Park! The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for overseeing manufacturing engineering projects from concept through successful implementation. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this position manages the full project lifecycle, including technical planning, requirements development, documentation, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation.

The role involves working closely with customers, suppliers, internal management, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects remain on track and meet technical, quality, cost, and timing expectations. The Engineering Project Manager may also contribute to recent product development initiatives and projects supporting other divisions, with international travel required periodically as business needs dictate.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent.
Job Location: Huron Park, ON

Shift Structure: 40 hours per week working onsite 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Compensation Structure: $90,000-$100,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical reports, project updates, and program summaries.
- Determine project resources and requirements, including defining technical scopes, developing specifications, and obtaining vendor quotations.
- Work closely with the Management Team to identify, communicate,



and mitigate potential project risks.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical or operational issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and overall progress to ensure timelines are maintained.
- Establish clear project goals, priorities, strategies, and objectives to support successful outcomes.
- Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring resources and priorities are effectively coordinated.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members and supporting staff.
- Establish project objectives with a focus on maximizing efficiency, value, and return on investment.
- Prepare and present project status, budget, and progress updates to the Engineering Team and other stakeholders.
- Support new product development projects from the initial quotation stage through to successful program launch.
- Participate in divisional projects and initiatives, including international travel when required.
- Review and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements to ensure project deliverables align with customer expectations.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and effectively communicate their requirements and expectations to the Engineering Team.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.




- Strong experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably within an engineering or project-focused capacity.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing standards, quality systems, and project management methodologies, including IATF 16949, VDA, ISO 9001, PPAP, FMEA, and APQP.
- Proven experience managing manufacturing engineering projects involving High Pressure Die Casting, CNC equipment, automation, and assembly processes.
- Working knowledge of GD&T; and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project coordination skills.
- Excellent technical writing abilities, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate project documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 1–3 years of experience in an office or engineering environment within a manufacturing setting.
