We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our busy family practice clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a family or general practice setting and be comfortable managing both administrative and clinical responsibilities in a rapid-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage phone calls, voicemails, and patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Process and manage incoming referrals and faxes efficiently
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and relay test results
- Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR)
- Greet and check in patients, verify demographic and insurance information
- Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with routine in-office procedures
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Process requisitions for imaging, labs, and other diagnostic services
- Maintain patient privacy and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards
- Support front desk operations, billing inquiries, and document scanning/faxing
- Monitor and maintain office and medical supply inventory
Qualifications & Skills:
✔ Previous experience in a family practice or general medical clinic required
✔ MOA certification is an asset
✔ Strong multitasking, organizational,
and time management skills
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
✔ Experience with OSCAR EMR is required
✔ Working knowledge of general medical terminology

Pay: $21.00–$25.00 per hour
Expected Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week
