Front of House – Full-Time / Part-Time

Gyubee Japanese Grill Calgary is opening soon! We are looking for friendly, responsible, and hardworking individuals to join our opening team.

Both experienced and inexperienced applicants are welcome. Full-time, part-time, and students are welcome to apply.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Server / Busser

- Must be 18 years or older
- Includes Tips
- Previous restaurant serving experience is preferred
- Must be available to work at least 3 full days per week to be considered, as proper training requires sufficient availability
- Good English communication and listening skills

Food Runner

- No previous restaurant experience required
- Training will be provided
- Robust work ethic and good work awareness
- Able to recognize what needs to be done and take initiative
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to accurately identify table numbers and deliver food to the correct tables

Front Desk / Host

- Must be 18 years or older
- Includes Tips
- Previous restaurant serving experience is preferred
- Strong English communication and listening skills required
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle and count money
- Friendly, organized, and comfortable communicating with customers
- Good work awareness and able to take initiative without constant direction

Bar

- Must be 18 years or older




- No previous bartending experience required; general work experience is an asset.
- Training will be provided
- Strong work ethic, responsibility, and good work awareness are important
- Must be able to work efficiently and independently
- Able to stay organized and complete assigned tasks

General Requirements

- Able to follow management and supervisor instructions
- Able to handle a heavy workload and maintain efficiency during fast-paced service

- Good attention to detail and cleanliness
