Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items efficiently, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor food quality during cooking, ensuring consistency and proper seasoning
- Support the team in serving dishes promptly during busy evening hours to enhance guest satisfaction
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and maintaining hygiene standards




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold a positive team environment

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook within a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently during evening shifts in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Excellent understanding of serving protocols and customer service standards
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
