We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hotel team in Red Deer, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responding for cleaning and preparing guests rooms to hotel standards while helping create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for our guests.
Duties
- Clean and prepare guests rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds and replace linens and towels.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, mirrors, fixtures, and guest room surfaces.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors as required.
- Replenish guest amenities and room supplies.
- Inspect rooms and report maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items.
- Maintain housekeeping carts and supplies in a clean and organized manner.
- Follow hotel health, safety, and cleaning procedures.
- Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within expected time standards.
- Communicate and work cooperatively with the Housekeeping and Front Desk teams.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping preferably in a hotel setting, is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.
