Responsibilities

- Perform customized massage therapy sessions based on client needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage. (Lymphatic Drainage massage certification is an asset but not necessary.)
- Assess client conditions and develop tailored treatment plans to address specific concerns or health issues.
- Maintain detailed client records, including treatment notes and progress reports, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend stretches or exercises to support ongoing wellness.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment plans, expectations, and post-session care instructions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, new techniques,



and relevant health information to continually improve service quality.

Requirements

- Valid registration and licensing as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and massage therapy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, empathetic approach that puts clients at ease.
- Ability to assess client needs accurately and adapt treatments accordingly.
- Prior experience in a clinical or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards of hygiene, safety, and confidentiality.

Pay: $55.00 per hour
