Job description

Primary Function of Job:

Lays out, fits, welds and fabricates structural framing and sheeting to construct pulpits, crane cabins and AC units by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Selects materials, equipment and supplies.

Reads blue prints to plan layout, assembly, and welding.

Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.

Tack-welds, clamps, or bolts all parts to secure in position for welding.

Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, automatic continuous welding or plasma arc welding equipment.





Assembles parts by welding and using mechanical fastening techniques.

Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
