CAREGIVER NEEDED – STURGEON COUNTY, AB

Prairie Comfort Home Care is looking for a reliable and compassionate caregiver to support a young male client in the Sturgeon County area.

About the Client

- Young male client with lower-body paralysis
- Bed-bound and requires assistance with daily care
- Requires mechanical transfers
- Catheter care
- Personal hygiene and personal care assistance
- A caregiver who is respectful, patient, dependable, and comfortable providing hands-on care is required.

Schedule

Monday to Saturday – Split Shifts

Morning: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Evening: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Total: 6 hours per day / 36 hours per week

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Reliable personal vehicle to travel to the client's home
- Comfortable driving in and around Sturgeon County and rural/county areas
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with mechanical transfers
- Comfortable providing catheter care and personal hygiene assistance
- Solid communication and professionalism
- Ability to commit consistently to the scheduled shifts
- Previous experience with personal care,



mobility assistance, or clients with physical disabilities is an asset
- Criminal record check and Vulnerable Sector Check may be required

Important

This position requires someone who can reliably attend both the morning and evening shifts. Consistency is very important because the client depends on scheduled care.
