Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Flight Instructor for Classes 1, 2, and 3, where you will inspire and guide aspiring pilots through their aviation journey. Duties
- Conduct engaging flight training sessions for students pursuing Classes 1, 2, and 3 certifications, focusing on skill development and safety protocols
- Assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback to enhance their flying capabilities
- Prepare and review training plans, lesson materials, and flight schedules to optimize learning outcomes
- Ensure all training activities comply with aviation regulations and safety standards set by relevant authorities
- Supervise ground school instruction, including technical theory lessons in areas such as aerodynamics, navigation, meteorology, and aircraft systems
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, flight hours, assessments,
and certifications in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Foster a supportive environment by communicating effectively in multiple languages including English, French, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, and other multilingual skills to accommodate diverse student backgrounds
Experience
- Proven experience as a licensed Flight Instructor for Classes 1, 2 & 3 with a solid record of effective teaching and leadership in aviation training
- Mechanical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures to troubleshoot basic issues during flights
- Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing student pilots or junior instructors in a training environment
- Multilingual proficiency in English plus additional languages such as French, Chinese, Hindi or Spanish to enhance communication with diverse learners
- Strong organizational skills for managing training schedules, documentation, and compliance records efficiently
- Customer service orientation with the ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools used for navigation and flight planning is a plus
