The Company: Calintro

Calintro is pre-revenue company developed by Decisive Edge. We are currently raising the financing required for its proof-of-concept, pilot, and initial commercialization. We are therefore not recruiting into a conventionally funded scale-up with established departments, large budgets, or fully defined roles.

We are building the team that will help create that company.

For the right people, that means unusually significant influence over the product, operating model, methodology, and culture from an early stage. It also means working in an setting where priorities will evolve as we learn from users, university partners, and the pilot.

The salary range shown in this posting is an annualized equivalent provided for job-board purposes. This is an early-stage, pre-financing venture, and the actual arrangement may include a combination of cash compensation, deferred compensation and/or equity participation, depending on the individual and the role.

Candidates selected to proceed to an interview involving confidential details of Calintro's product, methodology, technology, partnerships, or business plans will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement before that discussion.

The Role: Learning & Behavioural Program Lead

Develop and validate the methodology behind Calintro's behaviour-change outcomes, and how to measure them.

The Mission

Develop and validate the methodology through which Calintro helps people learn career-management and relationship-building behaviours—and establish credible ways of determining whether those behaviours are actually changing.

Calintro is not intended simply to give participants information about networking or career development.

The objective is to help participants develop behaviours, habits and capabilities that persist.

This role owns the intellectual and measurement framework behind that objective.

What You Will Own

You will help define:

- The behaviours Calintro is attempting to develop
- How those behaviours should be taught
- How practice should be structured
- How coaching should reinforce learning
- How software should support behavioural development
- How progress should be measured
- Which leading indicators matter
- Which outcome indicators matter
- How pilot results should be evaluated
- How qualitative and quantitative evidence should be combined
- How participant and coach feedback should be incorporated
- How the methodology should evolve based on evidence

You will work closely with Product & Technology to ensure that measurement and behavioural mechanisms can be incorporated into the software.

You will work with Design & Visual Communication to ensure that learning concepts are communicated and experienced effectively.

You will also help determine what the pilot must measure if Calintro is going to make credible claims about effectiveness.

What We Are Looking For

There is no single academic discipline that defines the ideal candidate.

We are particularly interested in people whose backgrounds combine some of:

- Behavioural science
- Psychology
- Organizational psychology
- Learning science
- Education
- Adult education
- Behavioural economics
- Instructional design
- Educational measurement
- Experimental design
- Applied statistics
- Program evaluation
- Quantitative social science

A master's degree, PhD or equivalent research experience could be highly relevant, but academic credentials alone are not enough.

We need someone who can translate theory into something that works with real people.

You should be comfortable with quantitative data and statistical reasoning while also recognizing that not everything important can be reduced to a single metric.

Experience designing, evaluating or researching interventions intended to produce behavioural change would be particularly valuable.

How You Think

We are looking for someone who instinctively distinguishes among:

What people know. What people say they intend to do. What people actually do. What eventually happens as a result.

Those are not the same thing.

You should be intellectually rigorous enough to question our hypotheses—including the founder's—and practical enough to design interventions that can operate in a real university environment.

We want someone interested in discovering whether Calintro works, not someone whose job is to manufacture evidence that it does.

That distinction is fundamental to this role.

Pay: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year

Work Location: Remote
