Full time Produce Clerk Overview

Lucky Supermarket is an Asian-Western grocery store offering a wide variety of fresh produce, groceries, and specialty products from around the world.

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Produce Clerk to join our team at our Maples location. In this role, you’ll help ensure our produce department is fresh, organized, well-stocked, and welcoming.

Key Duties

- Greet customers and assist with produce questions and selections.
- Ensure produce is fresh, well-stocked, and attractively displayed.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the department.
- Stock and organize produce inventory.
- Assist with inventory control and proper stock rotation.
- Remove damaged or spoiled produce as required.
- Work collaboratively with team members to keep operations running smoothly.
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

- Knowledge of Asian and Western fruits, vegetables, and other produce is preferred.
- Previous produce, grocery,



retail, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with merchandising and produce displays is an asset.
- knowledge of cleaning and food safety standards.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Able to perform physical duties including lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
