About the Role

Forte Constructors Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Civil Construction to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of assigned construction projects.

The Project Manager will take ownership of projects from contract award through completion and closeout, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and quality requirements.

This role requires a strong construction leader who understands both the operational and commercial sides of project management and can effectively coordinate field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage civil construction projects from award through final closeout.
- Review project scope, contracts, estimates, specifications, drawings, and tender assumptions.
- Develop project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and financial controls.
- Work closely with Superintendents and field leadership to plan and execute construction activities.
- Monitor project costs, productivity, committed costs, profitability, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
- Identify cost overruns and schedule risks early and implement corrective actions.




- Manage RFIs, change orders, contractual notices, claims, and project correspondence.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, material procurement, and long-lead items.
- Monitor project progress against schedules and develop recovery plans when required.
- Support timely progress billing, cash-flow management, and project financial reporting.
- Ensure safety, quality, and environmental requirements are incorporated into project execution.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Lead project meetings and provide accurate updates to management.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks.
- Lead project completion, deficiencies, documentation, final billing, and closeout.
- Mentor Project Coordinators and junior team members while supporting the development of field leadership.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Strong experience managing civil construction projects.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, productivity, and field operations.
- Strong financial and commercial understanding, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
- Experience with construction contracts, change management, procurement, subcontractors, and project documentation.




- Ability to develop and manage construction schedules.
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to anticipate risks and resolve issues before they affect project performance.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and sound judgment in a fast-paced construction environment.

Pay: $120,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
