North Park Family Medicine is a new medical space for an established single family doctor practice. We provide care on an appointment basis to patients registered with the practice.

Family Medicine practice for rostered patients

The ideal candidate MUST be:

· Empathetic to our patient needs at all times

· People oriented and understands that first impressions count.

· A team player prepared to assist physicians as needed

· Able to perform phlebotomy and administer IM injections.

· Multilingual (at least one of Punjabi/Hindi or Urdu)

Job duties include:

· Welcoming patients to the clinic as they arrive for their medical appointments

· Registering patients and ensuring that the EMR system is up-to-date with their data

· Answering the phone in a timely manner, booking appointments and answering any questions patients may have

· Triage of patients, ensuring that patients are safe and that they are ready to be seen on time

· Handling specimens and preparing them for lab pick-up

· Cleaning and sterilization of medical instruments

· Assisting the physician when needed,



taking vitals on patients as well as performing ECG's when needed

· Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and prior experience with EMR is required

Proficient in EMR Advantage

· Performing other administrative duties as required

· Ensuring patient confidentiality and maintaining a clean and organized reception area

Qualifications & Experience:

· Grade 12 or equivalent

· 2+ years of working experience in a similar environment

· 2+ years of Phlebotomy experience

· ECG experience

· Vaccine preparation experience

· Graduate of a Medical Office Assistant program or experience in the field

· Provide optimal customer service to patients with a positive and friendly attitude

Job Types: Full time

Salary: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
