Responsibilities

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote healthy teeth and gums
- Take and develop digital or traditional dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary habits to prevent future dental issues
- Assist with patient examinations by recording medical histories and current dental concerns
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient care during procedures such as orthodontics or pediatrics treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix




- Ensure all infection control protocols are strictly followed to uphold the highest standards of safety and cleanliness

Requirements

- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations
- Proven experience working in a dental office setting, preferably with pediatric or orthodontic cases
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health care
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, including bilingual abilities preferred
- Experience in dental assisting is a plus, especially when supporting complex procedures or pediatric patients
- Familiarity with orthodontics treatments and techniques is advantageous for providing specialized care

Pay: $38.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14.0 – 16.0 per week
