Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including movement analysis and medical history review
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs and goals
- Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management techniques, and home exercises
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments,
and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to coordinate care effectively
Experience
- Proven experience as a Registered Physiotherapist in a clinical setting, preferably with hospital experience
- Demonstrated expertise in acute care environments with the ability to manage complex cases efficiently
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to supporting diverse patient needs
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice and healthcare documentation standards
