WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Run the shift and work in it — step onto any station when it gets busy
- Prepare, cook, assemble and pack food to our recipes and portion standards
- Clean and sanitise throughout the shift alongside the team — kitchen, equipment, dining area, washrooms, storage
- Serve customers, work the counter, operate Toast POS, handle cash, refunds and voids
- Check food quality, portions, spice levels and cooking times before anything leaves the pass
- Record fridge, freezer and cooking temperatures; enforce food safety and hygiene
- Complete opening, shift-change and closing checklists — and physically verify them before signing
- Train staff on recipes, service standards, POS, cleaning and food safety
- Monitor attendance, clock-ins, breaks and punctuality; assist with scheduling and cover
- Count stock, receive deliveries, check invoices, place orders, record waste
- Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally
- Report shortages, equipment faults and staff issues to management the same day

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSStanding and walking for long periods, working near hot equipment (tandoor,



grills, fryers), handling and cooking food, lifting stock within safe limits, cleaning equipment and restaurant areas, and working through busy rush periods while managing the shift.WHAT YOU NEED

- Supervisory, shift lead or assistant manager experience in a restaurant or rapid-paced food service environment
- Proven hands-on experience in restaurant operations, not supervising from a distance
- Willingness to do kitchen, front-of-house, cleaning and stocking duties as required
- Experience with a restaurant POS (Toast, Micros, Clover or similar)
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling and sanitation
- Ability to train, coach and hold staff accountable
- Reliable, punctual, calm under pressure
- Available for evenings, weekends and holidays

An advantage: Ontario Food Handler Certification, quick-service experience, Toast experience.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
