We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper & Compliance Administrator to join our mortgage brokerage team in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience, excellent organizational skills and some background in mortgage, banking or financial services.

Bookkeeper & Compliance Administrator

Location: Ottawa, ON – In Office
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $38,000–$48,000, plus bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, payments, expenses and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting
- Support mortgage compliance, file audits and documentation
- Track licensing,



renewals and required documentation
- Provide administrative support to mortgage agents and broker
- Maintain confidential client and financial information
- Work with accounting and internal teams as required

Qualifications

- 3+ years of bookkeeping or financial administration experience
- Mortgage, banking or financial services experience is an asset
- Compliance experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Robust computer skills and comfortable working with technology, software and digital platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Professional, dependable and able to work independently
