Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, and backhoes, on a variety of residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and takes pride in their work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality results, contributing to the successful completion of development initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and develop your skills in a rapid-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and backhoes with precision and safety.




- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Assist in site preparation, trenching, and other construction activities requiring heavy equipment use.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with crew members to coordinate equipment needs and project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Support other construction tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Skills

- Proven experience operating equipment such as , excavators, backhoes, and skid steers.
- Skilled in shallow utility installation site operations with a focus on safety and precision.
- Minimum Class 5 license with a clean drivers abstract
- Familiarity with construction standards, safety regulations, and best practices for heavy equipment operation.
