Duties

- Monitor store premises using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to identify suspicious activities or potential thefts.
- Conduct regular patrols of the sales floor, stockrooms, entrances, exits, and other key areas to deter theft and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Investigate incidents of theft or policy violations by interviewing witnesses, collecting evidence, and documenting findings thoroughly.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies during investigations or in response to security incidents.
- Implement loss prevention procedures such as bag checks, employee audits, and access control measures to minimize shrinkage.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, surveillance footage logs, and security reports for review and compliance purposes.




- Educate staff on loss prevention policies and best practices to foster a security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles with a robust understanding of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies, store security procedures, and incident investigation methods.
- Ability to remain alert, observant, and proactive in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills for interviewing witnesses, reporting incidents clearly, and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment, CCTV systems, and security technology is highly desirable.
- Prior experience conducting investigations related to theft or fraud is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during patrols and surveillance activities.

Pay: $17.95-$19.00 per hour
