Brew + Bloom Downtown is looking for an Event Prep Cook to join our kitchen team!
If you love working with food, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and take pride in creating beautiful, well-prepared dishes, we’d love to meet you.
Our events range from intimate celebrations and corporate gatherings to afternoon teas, private parties, and larger catered events. We’re looking for someone who can help bring these events to life through organized, efficient, and quality-focused food preparation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Prepare ingredients and food items for events, catering, and daily service
- Assist with preparing event menus, buffets, platters, and afternoon tea service
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Assist with plating and presentation of event food
- Complete prep lists efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area
- Properly store, label, and rotate food
- Assist the kitchen team with event setup and service when needed
- Help with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as required
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail

- Comfortable working evenings and weekends when events require
- Previous kitchen or prep experience is an asset, but we’re willing to train the right person
