Asian Iron Works is a Toronto-based custom fencing and railing company. We're hiring a hands-on helper to work in our fabrication shop and on installation job sites. You'll help build railings and fences from raw material to finished product, then help install them. Part-time or full-time, with a real path to a permanent role and higher pay for the right person.

What you'll do:

- Measure, cut, drill, grind, and prep metal in the shop
- Use shop equipment including metal chop saws, bandsaw, drill press, and angle grinders
- Assist with fabrication, including welding prep and assisting on welded assemblies
- Help with finishing work: air compressor, spray gun, and paint brush
- Travel to job sites to help install railings and fences
- Keep the shop and job sites organized and protected

Physical requirements:

- Regularly lift up to 70 lbs
- Comfortable moving heavier material (150 lbs or more) safely, using proper technique, a partner,



or mechanical assistance (dolly, hoist, hand truck)
- Comfortable working on your feet all day, in the shop and outdoors in all weather

What you should already be comfortable with:

- Reading a tape measure accurately
- Angle grinder, metal chop saw, bandsaw, and drill press
- Air compressor and spray gun, paint brush work
- Basic shop safety and hand/power tools
- Welding machines (experience is an asset)
- Valid G licence preferred

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
