Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and productive workspace
- Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including fillings, extractions, orthodontics, and pediatrics
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions

Qualifications

- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program




- Experience with dental software platforms such as Abeldent and Dentrix is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontics
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices to effectively assist with children’s treatments
- Basic understanding of CAD technology used in digital imaging and treatment planning
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and patients
- Previous experience in dental assisting within orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus

Pay: $20.82-$25.00 per hour
