Job Overview

Aurora Electrical is looking for an experienced Journeyman and Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and industry standards.

Compensation, benefits, and other employment terms for this position are in accordance with the applicable IBEW Local 353 collective agreement.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local codes and standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure functionality.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Supervise apprentices and other electricians as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.
- hands-on experience with rigid conduit installation

Qualifications

- Valid Electrician Licence in Ontario.
- Proven experience as a Journeyman and Electrician, Industrial Electrician, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, blueprints, schematics, and applicable electrical codes.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation,



troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Proficient in the safe use of electrical hand tools and power tools and conduit installation
- Familiarity with low-voltage systems is an asset.
- Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver's licence is an asset.

Pay: $46.00-$58.00 per hour

Experience:
