Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service: Greet shoppers warmly, answer questions, and assist with bagging items or locating products.
- Transaction Processing: Operate cash registers, POS terminals, and barcode scanners to accept cash, debit, credit, and gift cards.
- Register Balancing: Count the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts to reconcile totals with sales reports.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout lane clean, restock supplies like bags or receipt paper, and occasionally stock nearby shelves.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Basic Math: Ability to accurately count change and balance funds.
- Communication: Clear verbal skills and a friendly, patient demeanor when dealing with the public.
- Physical Stamina: Comfort standing for long periods and performing light lifting.
- Experience: High school diploma preferred; previous retail or customer service experience is a strong asset but often not strictly required for entry-level openings.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
