Experienced Forklift Operator – Windsor-Essex County

Full-Time | $20.00–$25.00/hour | 8 & 12-Hour Shift Opportunities

Are you a skilled Forklift Operator with several years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial operations? Are you looking for a full-time opportunity offering competitive pay, steady hours, and long-term potential?

ACCU-STAFF is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators for opportunities with established employers throughout Windsor-Essex County.

We are looking for dependable operators with 3–5 years of recent forklift experience who are confident working in busy manufacturing, automotive, warehouse, logistics, distribution, and industrial environments.

Experience operating Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and other powered material-handling equipment is highly valued. Depending on the position, opportunities may be available on both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.

What You'll Be Doing

Responsibilities may vary depending on the assignment and can include:

- Safely operate Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and other powered material-handling equipment
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, incoming shipments, and production materials
- Transport raw materials, components, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility
- Deliver materials to production lines and work areas to maintain efficient workflow




- Safely handle and position large, heavy, or oversized materials
- Stage products and materials for production, storage, shipping, or receiving
- Support daily shipping and receiving operations
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, quantities, and related documentation
- Perform required pre-shift forklift and equipment inspections
- Identify and report equipment damage, mechanical concerns, and potential safety hazards
- Accurately document inventory movements and material transfers
- Assist with order picking, staging, inventory organization, and general warehouse duties
- Follow designated forklift routes, facility traffic rules, and material-handling procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas
- Follow all workplace health and safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, shipping, receiving, and logistics teams

What We're Looking For

- 3–5 years of recent, hands-on forklift operating experience
- Valid Forklift Certification
- Strong experience operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Trucks
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, automotive, warehouse, distribution, logistics, or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety and proper material-handling practices
- Experience moving and positioning large, heavy, or oversized materials safely
- Confidence operating powered equipment in busy production and warehouse environments
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability




- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow work instructions, safety requirements, and established procedures
- Basic computer and mathematical skills
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and complete physical duties as required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Full-time availability for required shifts, including rotating schedules where applicable
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
