Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting alarm , CCTV, and card access systems across various client sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, including low voltage and networking knowledge, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technology in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and security for our clients. Candidates should be comfortable working with power tools, hand tools, and low-voltage systems, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and service alarm systems, CCTV (IP and Analogue), Card Access System, and Intercoms
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install systems according to specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of systems listed above to ensure optimal performance.
- Work with computer hardware and networking components to integrate systems seamlessly into existing networks.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installation and repair procedures.
- Test system functionality post-installation or repair, ensuring compliance.
- Document system configurations, maintenance, and service reports accurately.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations.




- Stay updated on the latest security technology trends and best practices in low-voltage wiring and system installation.

Qualifications

- Proven experience with alarm systems, CCTV installation, computer networking, and telecommunication infrastructure.
- Robust understanding of schematics, blueprints, mechanical knowledge, and schematics reading skills.
- Familiarity with low-voltage wiring techniques and power tools usage.
- Experience working with sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and other security hardware components.
- Ability to read technical diagrams accurately and interpret schematics for system installation or troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of computer hardware integration related to security systems is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools required for installation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance.
- Relevant certifications or training in alarm systems or electrical work are a plus but not mandatory. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about security technology who thrive in technical environments requiring precision and attention to detail.
