Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shop Foreman to lead our service and maintenance operations. In this vital role, you will oversee daily shop activities, coordinate heavy equipment repairs, and ensure that all Trucks, Trailers and light duty vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and quality in our workshop workplace. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong mechanical background with hands-on experience in heavy equipment, automotive repair, and industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, vehicles, and machinery
- Coordinate work schedules for technicians and mechanics, assigning tasks based on skill sets and workload priorities
- Inspect equipment after the repairs so customers get a quality work.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding, electrical work, and the use of power tools
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance logs, and parts inventory for all equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status clearly to clients or internal teams





Qualifications

- Proven experience working in a dealership or industrial service setting with a focus on heavy equipment(Trucks and Trailers) or automotive repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge of highway trucks, trailers, tow trucks, HVAC systems, and specialty equipment.
- Hands-on experience with welding, electrical systems, schematics reading, and assembly processes
- Ability to operate trucks an trailers
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and maintenance procedures for mechanical systems
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of technicians or mechanics effectively
- Excellent communication skills combined with a customer service-oriented mindset
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing manual tasks in a busy workshop workplace

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
