Job description:
Are you a compassionate and dedicated caregiver looking to make a difference in your community? We are seeking a Health Care Aide to join our team immediately.
We provide in-home support services to injured workers, accident victims, recently discharged patients, and individuals requiring ongoing care. This role involves traveling to clients' homes within the local area, so applicants with a reliable vehicle are encouraged to apply.
An immediate start available for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility support
- Provide behavioral support as required
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, and mental well-being
- Consult regularly with the Care Manager regarding client needs and care plans
- Encourage client participation in activities and rehabilitation goals
- Provide emotional support to clients and their families, including palliative care support where appropriate
- Follow established policies and procedures related to safety, quality assurance, infection control, and client care
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Health Care Aide certification ( preferred)
- Long Term Care experience preferred
- Regular lifting and moving clients, equipment and supplies
- Recent and transparent Criminal Record Check
- Reliable vehicle and clean drivers abstract

Pay: $25.00 per hour
