Job Summary

OnCon Civil is looking for an experienced framer with extensive custom concrete formwork experience to join our snow shed rehabilitation project along the Trans-Canada Highway through Rogers Pass, near Revelstoke.

We’re looking for a capable, dependable carpenter who takes pride in quality work, can think through challenges and works well with a hands-on construction crew. Solid custom formwork skills are essential.

Position details:

Pay of $40 to $45 per hour, depending on experience and ability.

Approximately 60 hours of work per week.

Temporary, full-time position, expected to continue until early November 2026.

Living out allowance (LOA) provided.

The work involves building, installing, bracing and stripping custom concrete forms, adapting formwork to existing structures, and maintaining accurate dimensions, alignment and workmanship.





Applicants must have:

Proven framing experience and extensive experience with custom concrete formwork.

The ability to read construction drawings, take accurate measurements and carry out layout.

Confidence using carpentry tools and working independently when required.

A strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork.

The ability to work outdoors and meet the physical demands of the job.

A valid driver’s licence.

Availability to work approximately 60 hours per week for the project’s remaining duration.
