Legacy Health is seeking a self-motivated women’s health physiotherapist who wants the independence of building and managing their own practice while working alongside a cooperative healthcare team.

Our clinic already serves a substantial number of women’s health patients, creating a strong opportunity for a physiotherapist to establish their practice through clinical collaboration, appropriate internal referrals, and continuity of care.

The opportunity

This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial physiotherapist who enjoys taking initiative, developing patient relationships, and shaping their own services. You will maintain clinical independence while contributing to an integrated approach to women’s health.

Your practice may include pelvic floor rehabilitation, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, prenatal and postpartum rehabilitation, and concerns associated with perimenopause and menopause, according to your training and scope of practice.

Responsibilities

● Build and manage your physiotherapy practice within Legacy Health.

● Provide evidence-informed assessment, treatment, and patient education.

● Establish individualized care plans and maintain appropriate clinical documentation.

● Collaborate with other practitioners to support coordinated care and appropriate referrals.





● Take an active role in developing your patient base and promoting your services.

● Manage your practice schedule and business responsibilities under the contractor agreement.

Who we’re looking for

● A physiotherapist with current registration and authorization to practise in Alberta.

● Relevant postgraduate training and clinical experience in pelvic health and women’s health physiotherapy.

● Appropriate professional liability insurance.

● An independently driven practitioner with strong organizational and communication skills.

● Someone comfortable with the responsibilities and opportunities of operating their own practice.

● A commitment to respectful, patient-centred care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Pay: $29.92-$93.74 per hour
