Small Local French Bakery & Pâtisserie — Mount Pleasant

We are a small local bakery in the Mount Pleasant area, specializing in French pâtisserie, cakes, coffee, and lunch.

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. This is an urgent opening, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Job Summary

The Dishwasher is responsible for keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently. You will work closely with our kitchen and service teams, especially during busy periods.

Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Keep the dishwashing area and kitchen clean and organized.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
- Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Dispose of garbage and recycling according to health and safety requirements.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.




- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Help with general cleaning and organization as required.

Requirements

- Must be available to work 4 shifts per week.
- Previous restaurant, bakery, or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical work.
- Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential.

Schedule

You must be available for 4 shifts per week:

Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Vacation

Vacation requests may be considered outside our peak season in December, subject to approval and staffing requirements.
