REGISTERED BEHAVIOUR ANALYST (RBA)

18-Month Part-Time Contract | 15–20 Hours/Week | Fergus, Ontario

Autism Behavioural Services Inc. is looking for a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) to join our clinical team for an 18-month contract.

*Applicants must be a Registered Behaviour Analyst in good standing with the CPBAO.

This is an employee position with Autism Behavioural Services Inc. and is not an independent contractor opportunity.

This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive clinical environment where you will have meaningful involvement in assessment, programming, supervision, and clinical decision-making. You will work closely with children, youth, families, Instructor Therapists, and community partners to provide high-quality ABA services focused on meaningful outcomes.

We are looking for an RBA who is team-oriented, clinically thoughtful, and committed to supporting both clients and the team around them.

THE ROLE

The RBA will provide clinical oversight of ABA services, including assessment, programming, staff supervision, caregiver collaboration, and ongoing monitoring of client progress.

The position offers 10–20 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase hours as the caseload grows. Scheduling is primarily during the day, with some evening availability required for family meetings, supervision, and other service needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Conduct behavioural assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide clinical supervision and oversight of ABA services
- Train, mentor, and supervise Instructor Therapists
- Monitor client progress and make data-based clinical recommendations
- Develop and review behaviour support plans and skill acquisition programs
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other community professionals
- Support clients who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and collaborate with families and professionals to promote effective communication




- Complete clinical documentation, reports, and other required records
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative clinical environment
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Registration in good standing as an RBA in Ontario
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing ABA services to children and youth with autism and/or developmental disabilities
- Experience supervising Instructor Therapists and providing clinical leadership
- Demonstrated experience supporting clients who use AAC systems
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with Skills-Based Treatment (SBT) considered an asset
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
