Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Plant Supervisor to oversee daily inspection and production activities in a fast-paced facility.

The Plant Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating workflow, monitoring quality and safety standards, supporting employees, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring daily inspection goals are achieved. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with excellent communication, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, schedule, organize, and monitor daily work and inspection activities.
- Monitor workplace compliance with established health and safety requirements.
- Maintain and implement Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).
- Maintain and support the facility's HACCP program.
- Monitor X-ray, dud detection, and bundle-line compliance with established procedures.
- Coordinate corrective actions with Inspection Line Leads and document issues appropriately.
- Review inspection reports, seed logs, temperature logs, and contaminant retrieval reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor the proper storage of approved cleaning products and required safety documentation.
- Support and monitor the facility's pest-management program.
- Implement and maintain scheduled deep-cleaning activities for warehouse and production areas.
- Conduct SSOP and GMP training for X-ray Operators, Line Leads, and Forklift Operators.
- Maintain employee training records and documentation.




- Coordinate with Warehouse Administration to monitor project progress.
- Provide immediate employee performance feedback when required.
- Assist with resolving attendance, conduct, safety, and workplace issues.
- Ensure outbound products meet requirements before shipping.
- Provide hands-on support on inspection lines when required.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma required.
- 3–5 years of proven Production Supervisor experience in the food industry.
- Knowledge and experience with GMPs.
- Knowledge of FDA requirements.
- Bilingual English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of 5S methodology.
- Six Sigma training/certification is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, planning, scheduling, organization, collaboration, negotiation, and people-management skills.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical activities including bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grabbing. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.

Pay: $73,424.00-$88,108.00 per year

Experience:

- Knowledge of 5S methodology.: 1 year (required)
