A+ Sushi is a well-established sushi restaurant in Winnipeg, serving a wide variety of fresh sushi, sashimi, and Japanese dishes. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, and other Japanese dishes to our quality standards
- Select and handle fresh fish, seafood, and ingredients daily
- Prepare sushi rice and manage mise en place
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Work with the kitchen team to ensure smooth, timely service

Requirements

- 1+ years of experience as a sushi chef (or equivalent)
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques




- Valid Manitoba Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

What We Offer

- $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time hours (30–40 hours per week)
