Project Manager
Location: Vancouver, BC

The Role
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead civil construction projects from pre-construction through close-out, with responsibility for project controls, commercial performance, client relationships and field execution. Reports to the Director of Construction.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead project planning, scheduling, forecasting, cost control and profitability.
- Manage contracts, procurement, change orders, claims, risk and project close-out.
- Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and field resources.
- Oversee progress billing, receivables and monthly cost reporting.
- Lead client, consultant and stakeholder meetings and maintain robust relationships.
- Ensure permits, safety, quality and environmental requirements are met.




- Provide technical input during estimating, pre-construction and project execution.
- Manage manpower, equipment and materials against project requirements and budget.

Qualifications

- 10+ years’ civil construction experience, including earthworks, roadbuilding, excavation/shoring and underground utilities.
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering or related field preferred.
- Strong commercial, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with HCSS, Bluebeam, Agtek, Spectrum, MS Project and Microsoft Office.
- Unionized construction experience an asset.
- Valid driver’s licence required.
