Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards for quality and presentation. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant setting, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

- Prepare and assemble ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and measuring food items
- Cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food safely and hygienically during all stages of meal preparation and service




- Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and ensuring timely delivery of dishes
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, storage, and sanitation to prevent contamination or accidents

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable
- Experience in meal preparation, serving, or working in the food industry will help ensure a smooth transition into this role

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
